Image adjustments

Image adjustment tools for precise colour and detail

Correct a photo or push a look without destroying the original. Pixopea includes tone, colour and detail adjustments, and the adjustment-layer workflow keeps the settings editable after you apply them.

Light and colour

Brightness and contrast correct exposure and separation. Hue rotation, saturation and a full hue/saturation control shift colour, while greyscale and invert provide quick looks. Each adjustment can be previewed before it is committed.

Detail and blur

Blur softens a background or a distraction; sharpen brings back local contrast. Both run on the canvas and can be scaled to the preview so the result matches the final output. Use a mask to limit the effect to part of a layer.

Keep the original pixels

Filters are applied to a copy or an adjustment layer, not silently to the source file. Undo and history cover the change, and the original asset remains available. Export when the result is right, in PNG, JPG, WebP or a layered format.

Common questions

Are adjustments available without an account?

Yes. The guest editor includes the adjustment tools. An account adds cloud saves, version history and AI tools.

Can I adjust only part of an image?

Yes. Combine an adjustment layer with a mask to limit the effect to a subject, sky or any painted region.

Are curves and levels included?

Not yet. Pixopea currently offers brightness, contrast, hue/saturation, blur, sharpen, greyscale and invert. Curves and levels are on the roadmap.
